Our summer running program welcomes athletes ages 7 and up — from first-time runners to experienced competitors. EDT provides a supportive, growth-focused environment that builds confidence, develops skills, and challenges athletes to reach new performance levels. Summer is the perfect time to build your base, sharpen your skills, and enjoy the run with EDT.
Program Overview
Train for distance track events (800m and up) while improving endurance, speed, pacing, and race-day confidence. Athletes can compete in a variety of meets throughout the summer, including opportunities for national-level events.
Training Schedule
All ages and grades (7–18; 1st–12th grade) are welcome.

EDT fosters growth and confidence in developing runners while maintaining an environment of excellence for advanced and elite-level athletes. Training emphasizes consistency, accountability, effort, and a lifelong enjoyment of the sport.

Locations
For training, we will rotate between locations that are within 5-10 minutes of Southlands Shopping Center and Aurora Reservoir such as: Red Tailed Hawk Park, Boulder Park, Anchor Point Park, Fox Ridge Middle School, and Polk Park.
*Practices may be shifted/canceled when close to a race
