Our spring program is designed for athletes ages 7-18, from brand-new runners to elite competitors. EDT offers a supportive, growth-focused environment that develops confidence, skills, and performance — while also providing high-level training for advanced athletes.Train for distance track events (800m and up) while building endurance, speed, and race-day confidence. Athletes may compete in indoor, outdoor, and national-level meets throughout the season.

*Sibling Discount: $100 off each additional athlete (full season only; not applicable for high school prep option or prorated dues)

Season Structure

  • 13 weeks of individualized, age-appropriate coaching
  • 3 practices/week
    Mon / Tue / Thu — 4:30–5:45pm
    Athletes should attend at least two practices each week
  • Optional weekly training plan including:
    • Strength and core
    • Mobility and plyometrics
    • Additional age-appropriate runs
  • In-practice emphasis on:
    • Strength development
    • Nutrition guidance
    • Mental preparedness
    • Race strategy and pacing
  • Data-focused development with metrics, progress tracking, and race goals

EDT fosters growth and confidence in new and developing runners, while creating an environment of excellence for elite-level athletes. Training emphasizes effort, accountability, and enjoyment of the sport.

Prerequisites:

  1. Age 7+
  2. Genuine interest in running and improving
  3. Ability to run 800m (½ mile) without walking

Youth

  • Fundamentals of running, movement skills, and age-appropriate endurance building as appropriate

 High School Prep 

(Grades 9–12)- $225

  • Individualized training plan prescribed for end of December/start of January as appropriate, along with possible group runs before 1/19. 
  • Supplemental runs are assigned to prepare athletes for the upcoming track season (generally to complete a 4-6 day/wk block)
  • Designed for both new and experienced high school runners

Locations

For training, we will rotate between locations that are within 5-10 minutes of Southlands Shopping Center  and Aurora Reservoir such as:  Red Tailed Hawk Park, Boulder Park, Anchor Point Park, Fox Ridge Middle School, and Polk Park. 


*Practices may be shifted/canceled when close to a race

**Training  specifics are loaded into team app, available upon joining of the team.

4/??- Boulder Track Series #1 @ Niwot HS

*There will also be several EDT races, and possible other meets added to the schedule as season starts.

Spring Travel Meet Opportunities

 We're excited to offer two amazing opportunities this Spring for athletes to travel and compete at the national level! Both meets are completely optional and independent—you do not need to attend one to participate in the other.


1. Washburn “Be Your Best #3” – February 21,2026

Topeka, KS

This 1-day indoor meet takes place at the brand-new Washburn facility and is open to all athletes who are interested and able to travel.

No team fee required – just a small meet registration cost and your own travel expenses.

Great chance for experience and fun competition in a high-quality venue.


2. Adidas Indoor Nationals – Spring Break (March 20-22,2026)

Virginia Beach, VA

This prestigious national meet is open to athletes ages 10+ who meet the qualifying standards. Qualifying marks will be released at the start of the Spring season, and must be achieved by February 21st. 

Cost: $225/athlete- includes meet registration (travel and lodging not included).
