Spring track offerings

Elementary, Middle, and High School Options

Youth 

  • Grades 2-8; ages 7-14
  • Jan 19- April 11 (no practice March 16-19  due to Spring Break)
  • $450 full season

High School 

  • Grades 9-12
  • Jan 3- Feb 20
  • $225 half season
  • This option has an individualized approach that works with athletes to develop and maintain speed & endurance, while preparing for the upcoming spring high school track season.

Practices

  3 in-person practices/week:

 Jan-Apr: 4:30–5:45pm (Mon / Tue / Thu)

  • In-person focus on strength, nutrition, mental prep, and race tactics
  • Data-driven training: performance metrics and race goal tracking

High school and upper level middle school athletes will be given additional supplemental and individualized workouts as part of their complete training plan.

3/12- EDT Team Race

3/20-21- Texas Distance Festival- Southlake, TX

4/2- EDT Team Race

4/11- Denver Distance Classic @ Englewood High School


*As the spring running program kicks off, there will also be several EDT races and possible other distance track events added to the schedule.

A youth running team gathers on a pathway before a race in a suburban area.

 Spring Track Program (Ages 7-18)
Whether new to running or an elite athlete, EDT provides a supportive, growth-focused environment to build confidence, skills, and performance. Train for distance events (800m -5k) while improving endurance, speed, and race-day readiness. Opportunities include indoor, outdoor, and national-level competitions.

 Schedule/Training

  • 13 full weeks of individualized, age-appropriate coaching
  • 3 in-person practices/week: Mon/Tue/Thu, 4:30–5:45 pm (attend at least 2 each week)

*No practice March 16-19 due to Spring Break

  • Optional weekly plan: strength, core, plyometrics, and extra runs tailored to ability
  • In-person focus on strength, nutrition, mental prep, and race tactics
  • Data-driven training: performance metrics and race goal tracking

 Elevated Distance Training (EDT)
EDT builds confidence and growth for new runners while pushing elite athletes to excel. Our programs, including specialized spring sessions, focus on effort, accountability, and enjoyment—while focusing on distance track events.

Prerequisites:

  • Age 7+
  • Genuine interest in running and improvement
  • Ability to run 800m (½ mile) without walking
